week 1

i just read my course instructions and realize that i need to be writing about my week 1 experience. i must admit, i skipped the preliminary stuff b/c i'm way behind and need to catchup. i wanted to get the blog setup and so i'll go back and go over the beginner stuff later. as far as setting up a blog goes, it's as easy as pie. now the more complex stuff - fiddling with design, etc. - may not be as easy, but we'll see.

first day

well it's my first day of this catch23 thingy that we're doing here at work. i've been reading blogs for a long time, but never created one. i guess there's a first for everything. i recall back in library school saying that i would NEVER create a webpage. at that time it was so new most people were creating vanity pages. wow - have i had to eat crow on that one. i guess i'm jumping on board with this blogging thing as well.
